1. Alcoholic Fruit Punch Recipe: Rum Punch
This is an alcoholic punch recipes classic! The Caribbean’s knew what they were doing when they came up with this one.
It’s definitely one the most foolproof cocktail punch recipes, with perfect tropical citrus and sweet balance. It doesn’t taste like poison while still having a great amount of alcohol in there and it’s super simple to prepare.
There are so many different rum punch recipes out there, but here is my tried and trusted recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups white rum
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 3 cups orange juice
- 1 cup lime juice (fresh is best, if not lime juice designed for cocktail mixing)
- 1/2 cup grenadine
That’s it! Grab a large punch bowl or drinks dispenser, add the ingredients one at a time and mix mix mix.
Start with this as a base and add any extras as needed.
To make it a little sweeter, add some extra pineapple juice and/or grenadine syrup. For some more tang, add some more orange juice. If you prefer more citrus, add extra lime juice. Of course, to make it stronger, add more rum – obviously. Definitely give this a try, it is 100% THE best recipe for alcoholic fruit punch!
2. Alcoholic Punch Recipes: Aqua Island
If you like a sweet sour cocktail, like a sour patch kid, this alcoholic punch recipes is for you.
This is one of our fairly newer cocktail punch recipes, but as soon as I tried it, I fell in love! It’s got a wonderful electric blue colour, and a striking blue raspberry kick, paired with the perfect amount of sweetness to make it just right. Why not give it a try!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups blue raspberry vodka
- 2 cups blue raspberry schnapps
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 2 cups sweet and sour mix
- 1 cup simple syrup
Again, grab a large container like a punch bowl or drink dispenser and mix it all up together – super easy!
For some more sweetness add some extra pineapple juice and/or simple syrup. For some extra sour, add some more sweet and sour mix.
3. Cocktail Punch Recipes: Blue Hawaiian
Remember the classic piña colada? This is basically a piña colada with a twist.
It’s got the perfect taste of the tropics and makes you feel like you’re in the islands, or on the beach, just generally enjoying some summer weather. This is always great if you’re living in the UK, land of the grey clouds. Whisk away to the islands with one of our favourite alcoholic punch recipes.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups white rum
- 2 cups blue curaçao
- 6 cups pineapple juice
- 2 cups cream of coconut (1 cup for a less coconut-intense drink, you can also skip the coconut altogether if you’re not a fan and it’ll still taste great!)
If you have any tiki glasses to match, this drink would go great with a Tiki theme. Add a pineapple slice and cherry skewer to garnish to really top off the presentation!

To serve as a regular punch for parties, mix everything together in your punch container and if you’d like add some pineapple slices to float on top.
4. Punch Recipe Alcoholic: Margarita Punch
We all love tequila shots, so you’ll probably love its big brother drink the margarita.
This is a slight spin on a classic margarita recipe and is one of my favourite alcoholic punch recipes. It’s got a great lime-led sweet and sour taste to it, which really brings out that tequila taste we all know too well. This cocktail punch recipes is a must-try for your party!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups triple sec
- 4 cups tequila
- 2 cups lime juice (fresh is best, if not lime juice designed for cocktail mixing)
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- For some extra sweetness that’ll also bring out that tequila taste add a dash of agave (optional)
- Top off with some lemon-lime soda (e.g. Sprite) to your taste, or leave it as it is
Suppose you’d like to serve this in cups such as margarita or martini glasses, or even just a regular tumbler, half rim the glass using some lime juice and salt. Then, mix the ingredients together in a shaker, leaving out the lemon-lime soda and agave and pour into a glass.
Lemon lime soda dulls the overall taste a little more, which is good for a punch, but the single-serve punch recipe alcoholic cocktail is better left alone.
To serve as a punch for parties, mix everything together in your punch container.
5. Long Island Iced Tea Punch Cocktail Recipe
The Long Island Iced Tea needs no introduction. This is one of the top cocktail punch recipes.
I’m sure you’ve been to a bar wanting to order as few drinks as possible and so you go for the long island because it has a billion different spirits in it. Yep, me too. Don’t be fooled, you’re in control of this and there are no watered-down spirits – so know your limits!
This is one of the best alcoholic punch recipes if you have these spirits to hand.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup vodka
- 1 cup rum
- 1 cup gin
- 1 cup tequila
- 1 cup triple sec
- 2 cups sweet and sour mix (can also increase or decrease by 1 cup if you plan on adding less cola)
- Top off with as much cola as you’d like – for a punch, I’d recommend at least 2 cups
To serve as a punch, add everything into your punch container and mix together.
To give it more of a punch-like feel, add a fair amount of the cola.
For an on-the-rocks tall punch recipe alcoholic cocktail in a glass, just add enough cola to fill the glass to the top after adding all the other ingredients.
Although serving this as a punch a a bit unorthodox, you’ll find it’s a great punch for parties!
